We request your support through your signature for the Declaration regarding the stationing in Germany of the two murderers of the Irishman Peter McBride.

You can sign the German or the English version either on behalf of an organisation or as a private individual. We would be grateful if you would forward this declaration to friends and acquaintances.

The signature campaign will run until its aim is reached. The signatures which we have collected so far will be handed over to the German Foreign Ministry and the British Government in September. The name, place of residence and country (not the complete address) of the signatories will be made public here on the website.

The declaration and the press statement which is also made public here will be forwarded to German media, members of the German Parliament and various other organisations. Simultaneously the English versions of the declaration and the press statement will be distributed in the English speaking world by The Pat Finucane Centre (a human rights organisation) which is located in Derry.

Responsible for the petition and the media campaign is the campaign; “Justice in the Case of Peter McBride”. The campaign consists of members of various Ireland groups as well as interested individuals. Assistance and co-operation is more than welcome.  The sole purpose of the campaign is to support the McBride family in their efforts to prevent the retrospective legitimisation of the murder of their son by the British government and army.
