40th Anniversary of the New Lodge Six Killings by British Army

Todays vigil at 6pm in Duncairn Parade, in New Lodge in Belfast remembers Jim Sloan, Jim McCann, Tony Campbell, Brendan Maguire, John Loughran and Ambrose Hardy.

The six men were murdered within 90 minutes in the night of February 3, 1973 by the British Army. The people from New Lodge conducted an own inquiry into the killing, because no official inquiry has ever been held.

A mural on the New Lodge Road remembers the six victims and demands the truth:
